bits and pics 9/12 Dementia conference in Spain!

Last week I was fortunate enough to travel to Valencia, Spain for a conference on Dementia – specifically, The 2nd International Conference on Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia. I presented my research and attended some great sessions on amyloid vs tau hypotheses, therapeutic strategies, the search for biomarkers and considerations for care and diagnosis. Luckily, after the sessions were done, I was able to explore the beautiful city. Darc and I were there for a short stay (48hrs) in 2008 when we backpacked around Europe, but it was nice to revisit the home of Paella, Agua de Valencia, Sangria and Churros… and beautiful playas! much love.
